Martje moved to London from her native Holland in 1987 and worked at the legendary Marquee Club on Charing Cross Road for seven years. She then went to work for Heavenly Records where she was responsible for booking and promoting their weekly Saturday night event 'The Heavenly Social' at Turnmills, EC1. The resident DJs included Fatboy Slim, Chemical Brothers, Jon Carter and Richard Fearless from Death In Vegas.

Martje joined Decked Out as a booking agent in February 2000. She currently represents artists like Dave Clarke, Erol Alkan, Boys Noize, The Crookers, Justin Robertson, The Glimmers and Brodinski, plus most of the highly acclaimed Ed Banger record label roster including Justice, DJ Mehdi, and Busy P amongst others.
